Who Can File MC Authority and USDOT Number For You

You do not have to do it yourself. TruckerNavi Inc prepares and submits the whole package — USDOT, MC Authority, BOC-3, UCR and Clearinghouse — for a flat $499 plus government fees, and walks you through every step in Russian if that is your language.

How the three weeks actually look

1
Day 1. Call or WhatsApp, we collect your documents and register the company if you do not have one yet.
2
Days 2–3. Login.gov identity verification and the FMCSA Motus application — the step where self-filers most often get stuck. We do it with you on the phone.
3
Day 3. BOC-3, UCR and Clearinghouse filed. Your application is published with a 10-day protest window.
4
Around day 21. Authority is granted. It goes active once your insurance filing is on record — we coordinate that timing so there is no dead week.

The entire process runs in Russian if that is easier for you

This is what most filing services cannot offer. Every call, every document and every FMCSA form is explained to you in Russian, by people who went through the same paperwork themselves. You are never left decoding a federal form in a second language while your money and your start date are on the line.

Русскоязычным клиентам: всё оформление ведём на русском — от Login.gov до активной authority. Звоните (315) 871-0833 или пишите в WhatsApp.

What we are — and what we are not

We are
✅ TruckerNavi Inc — a New Jersey company operating since 2019
✅ A filing and compliance service: we prepare and submit your FMCSA paperwork
✅ A flat-fee provider — the price is published on this page
✅ Reachable by phone, WhatsApp and email, 7 days a week
We are not
❌ Not a law firm — we do not provide legal representation
❌ Not a licensed insurance agency — insurance is placed through licensed partners
❌ Not the FMCSA — government fees are paid to the government, not to us
❌ We do not promise approval: FMCSA decides, we make sure the filing is correct

Before any payment you get a written scope of work listing exactly what is filed, what the government fees are, and what happens if the application is rejected. Ask for it — it is standard here, not an exception.

Frequently asked questions

Who is allowed to file MC authority and a USDOT number on my behalf?

Anyone you authorize can prepare and submit the filing for you. FMCSA does not require a lawyer. In practice there are three options: file it yourself through the FMCSA Motus system, hire a compliance service like TruckerNavi Inc, or pay a transportation attorney. The filing itself is identical; what differs is who catches the mistakes.

How much does it cost to have someone file it for me?

TruckerNavi charges a flat $499 for the full Authority Bundle. Government fees are separate and go to the government: $300 to FMCSA for the MC number, $35 for BOC-3 process agent designation, and UCR registration starting at $46 for a fleet of one to two trucks.

How long does it take before my MC authority is active?

About three weeks in a normal case. FMCSA publishes your application with a 10-day protest window, and authority is typically granted around 21 days after filing. It becomes fully active only after your insurance filing is on record, which is why the insurance step is scheduled, not left to chance.

Can you do all of this in Russian?

Yes. Calls, WhatsApp, documents and the Login.gov and Motus verification steps are all handled in Russian, English or Ukrainian, whichever you prefer. This is the main reason Russian-speaking owner-operators come to us rather than to a generic filing service.

What exactly is included in the $499?

LLC or corporation registration, EIN application, USDOT number, MC Authority, BOC-3 filing, UCR registration, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration and consortium enrollment, plus support until your authority shows as active.

Do I have to come to your office?

No. Everything is done remotely by phone, WhatsApp and email. We serve clients across the United States; our team is based in New Jersey and also works with clients in New York and Florida.

What documents do you need from me?

A copy of the owner's driver license, the IRS SS-4 letter with your EIN, and your Articles of Incorporation or Organization if the company already exists. If you do not have a company yet, we register it as part of the package.

What if my application gets rejected?

FMCSA makes the decision, not us, so nobody can honestly promise approval. What we do promise is that the filing goes in correct the first time, and if FMCSA asks for a correction we handle the response at no extra charge. The scope of work you receive before payment spells this out.
